Strategic Plan

Governor Jon M. Huntsman, Jr., has mandated that each state agency create a Balanced Scorecard to track our success in serving Utah’s citizenry and to provide a vehicle for identifying how to better deliver our services.

The Department of Community and Culture and its divisions are committed to serving our constituents by striving to:

  • Provide easy and efficient access to DCC’s cultural, financial, and technical resources.
  • Seek and maintain strategic partnerships, both in the public and private sectors.
  • Invest in employees to create a highly-trained and productive workforce.
  • Maximize the use of resources by prioritizing budgets, leveraging funds and implementing efficiencies.
  • Provide courteous service and timely, relevant, and accurate information.
