Chase Home Museum Administrator
The Division of Arts and Museums is currently seeking a qualified individual to administer the Chase Home Museum of Utah Folk Arts on a full-time basis. The incumbent will oversee the daily operations of the museum, including opening and closing procedures and staff the reception desk. In addition to daily operations, this person will assist with exhibition planning and installation, conduct research as relevant to the history of the Chase Home as well as traditional arts and folklife within Utah, supplement existing educational materials, and manage the social media presence for the museum.
Digitization Technician
The Utah State Library Division is looking to fill the position of a Digitization Technician. Under the supervision of the Library Resources Program Manager, the employee will prepare internal files and documents for digitization, perform scanning of files and documents, organize images on a local drive, as well as perform other project tasks as deemed necessary. They will also work closely with various employees to determine the best way to organize that employee’s files and documents. This position is a time limited (temporary) position with the employee working part time, between 15 and 20 hours per week for up to 4 months.
Editorial Assistant
The Utah Division of State History is seeking to hire an Editorial Assistant for Utah Historical Quarterly (UHQ) and related publications. The Editorial Assistant will work closely with the editor of UHQ in preparing manuscripts for publication. This is a part-time position. See the attached job description for more details.
